Little Valley Skatepark is an 8,850 SF, multi-level park featuring a wide variety of elements. Planning for a park in the area has been in discussion since 2021, but things became more serious in the latter part of 2023 when members of the St. George Parks and Department and Omega began focused conversations about the project. Paul, a licensed landscape architect working for the city, has been our primary contact. Together, we’ve worked through three site options and over six different designs before arriving at the current plan.
Though it has been a long journey, both the St. George Parks Department and I are extrememly happy with the final design. The park is a bit larger than our initial plans, and its location allows families to attend soccer practices and games while kids can play on the playground or enjoy the skatepark—all within sight. This skatepark will be an iconic part of the community for decades to come.
