In 2021, a family on vacation from Boulder City, NV found themselves skating one of our miniramps in Oahu, HI. They were hooked, but unfortunately had to wait until we moved operations to the mainland. Once moved, our site visit revealed the perfect undeveloped space between their house and the side yard. We were planning on a 30’ wide miniramp until the unexpected happened. Their teen son, the skateboarder, had just been diagnosed with Leukemia and the project would have to be put on hold.

A year later we received a call from Make-A-Wish Nevada. The teenage son had made a wish and it was to be granted, an Omega Ramp. We planned and installed the project as a secret to the recovering teenager. The reveal was a huge party put on by Make-A-Wish Nevada. Hundreds of people crowded the backyard including friends, family, other Make-A-Wish kids, Kona Ice, and Dutch Bros Coffee. It was incredible to see the community rally around this brave teen and his family. We were lucky to be part of it.
